AlertWatch Clinical Publications

The University of Michigan Health System has completed several IRB-approved studies of AlertWatch. Several abstracts highlighting different aspects of patient care were recently presented in January, 2014 at the Society for Technology in Anesthesia conference. Most recently, the University of Michigan published a ground breaking study highlighting the impact of AlertWatch over a 6 year study period.

Impact of a Novel Multiparameter Decision Support System on Intraoperative Processes of Care and Postoperative Outcomes

Summary: This study showed a reduction in length of stay and hospital charges when comparing AlertWatch users versus non-users. It also showed an improvement in intraoperative process measures.
